At Bob Scholte Fine Art, you can rely on professional art appraisals. As an appraiser, I determine the value, authenticity, and provenance of your artwork. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount in every appraisal.
Art appraisals can serve a wide range of purposes, including insurance, inheritance, sale, loan, or division. Depending on the specific purpose, we distinguish between several types of value assessments, such as:

Fair market value: the market value in a transaction between third parties, equivalent to auction value

Insurance value: the value used for insurance purposes

Comparable replacement value: the amount required to acquire a similar object of equal rarity
Appraisals can be discussed verbally or documented in a written appraisal report. This report is prepared with care, supported by transparent reasoning, and based on current market trends.
My standard hourly rate is €100 excluding VAT and travel expenses. You will always receive a clear time estimate in advance. We will schedule a (telephone) consultation to discuss your situation, and if desired, you will receive a non-binding quotation.
