Bob Scholte Fine Art is always interested in acquiring new artworks that fit within the collection, especially by Dutch artists from the period 1880–1950. You can submit your offer without obligation by email or via the form on the website (under Sales & Consignment), preferably including clear photos, additional information, and your asking price. Some works may be better suited for consignment sale or sale through a specialized auction. I am happy to advise and assist you with these options as well.

Bob Scholte Fine Art makes a valuable contribution to art historical research. This includes lending works for exhibitions at museums such as Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Museum Arnhem, and Museum Belvédère, as well as providing detailed information about these pieces. Additionally, the gallery actively supports research by supplying and verifying data from archival materials, sources, and literature studies. A notable example is the collaboration with the RKD and the Siebe ten Cate Foundation on the study of Ten Cate’s network, biography, and catalogue raisonné.
Furthermore, new discoveries are regularly shared through the blog on our website, including recent attributions, identification of sitters, and the recovery of lost provenances. In this way, Bob Scholte Fine Art not only contributes to the dissemination of knowledge but also helps to document the story behind each artwork accurately and meaningfully.
