The past year was all about the Dutch painter Jan Mankes (1889-1920).
Bob Scholte Fine Art is proud to announce the notable sale of five oil paintings by Jan Mankes, inclusing Rose and Lily in a Glass (1912) to an important New York art collection. In addition, Museum Møhlmann in Appingedam has acquired two rare prints by Jan Mankes, Screaming Crow (1918) on spider web paper and a signed copy of a portrait of Annie Mankes-Zernike (1914).
